이야기는 어떤 도시, 이름 모를 남자의 시점에서 갑자기 시작됩니다.
남자의 이름을 모르니, 미상, 이라고 부르기로 할게요. 신원 미상 할 때의 그 미상이요. 남자는 오래 전 부터 공허함을 느껴왔어요. ‘내'가 ‘나' 인게 싫고, 무언가 다른 존재가 되고 싶었어요.
The story suddenly unfolds from the perspective of an unknown man in a random city.
Let’s call this man Misang(means unknown in Korean) as his name is unknown. The ‘Misang’ when someone’s identity is unknown. The man had been feeling empty in his life for a long time. He did not like being himself and wanted to be a different being.

구체적으로 어떤 존재가 되고 싶었을까요? 알 수 없었어요. 그래서 남자는 그 손에 잡히지 않는 모습들을 구현해보려고, 아주 엉성한 모양의 옷가지들을 만들었어요. 그리고 매일 밤, 그 서로 다른 껍데기들을 바꿔입으며 거리를 돌아다녔어요. 그 순간 순간은 기분이 조금 괜찮았어요. 그렇지만 이런게 다 부질 없는 시도임을 스스로도 당연히 알고 있었고, 매일 밤 후회하고 절망했어요. ‘다른 무언가가 되고 싶다. 그런데 될 수 없다.
What kind of being did he want to become specifically? He had no clue. So the man made some rather poorly finished clothes to realize those images that couldn't be grasped. At those moments he felt a bit alright. However, he has been regretful and in despair every night, fully aware that all these were vain attempts. 'I want to be something different, but I can't'.

그런 남자의 방에, 작은 버섯이 하나 날아들어왔어요. 남자는 본능적으로 냄새를 맡았고, 즉시, 아주 강렬한 환각을 보게 됐어요. 환각 속에서 남자는, 자신이 진짜 다른 존재로 변화하는 경험을 했어요. 남자는 버섯과 사랑에 빠졌어요. 그리고 아주 오랜 기간동안 칩거하면서, 버섯의 환각에 빠져 지냈어요. 남자는 환각 속에서, 자신이 다른 존재가 되는 것을 넘어서, 자아가 여러개로 확장되는 경험을 했어요. 참고로 그렇게 환각 속에서 탄생한 존재들이 해골들이에요. 고스트 skull trait 들이요.
A small mushroom came flying in his room. The man smelled the mushroom instinctively. It caused a very strong hallucination right away. The man experienced himself turning into a different being through this hallucination. The man fell in love with the mushroom. He kept himself in the house and spent most of the time hallucinated by the mushroom. In the hallucination, not only did the man become a different being, but he experienced his identity expand into multiple egos. Fun Fact I: The beings that were created through the hallucination were skulls — The skull trait in GhostsProject.

그렇게 여러 날을 환각에 빠져 지내다 보니, 어느덧 버섯은 꽤나 많이 성장해있었어요. 먹음직스러울만큼이요. 남자는, 버섯을 약간은 떼어 먹어도 되지 않을까? 하고 생각했어요. 냄새만 맡아도 이렇게 즐거운데, 맛을 보면 어떨까?
After spending several days entrapped in hallucination, the mushroom had grown quite a lot. It looked very tasty, and the man thought it would be alright to have a portion of it. There was a great anticipation from the scent alone, so what if he were to taste it?
