Preparation

1. Go to zodiac through Gnosis safe app.

2. Click reality modue

   

3. Get template Id at reality.eth through clicking Get template here

   

   

   Enter in an appropriate ENS name, this will be used in the question template (e.g. "Did the Snapshot proposal with the id %s in the YOUR_ENS_NAME space pass...").

   Copy this template Id as it will be used at Reality Instance

   It requires to pay transaction fee to create template

4. Finalizing Params

   

   • Timeout: Duration that answers can be submitted to the oracle (resets when a new answer is submitted)
   • Cooldown: Duration required before the transaction can be executed (after the timeout has expired).
   • Expiration: Duration that a transaction is valid in seconds (or 0 if valid forever) after the cooldown (note this applies to all proposals on this module).
   • Bond: Minimum bond required for an answer to be accepted. New answers must be submitted with double the previous bond. For more on why a bond is required in an escalation-game-based oracle, read more in the Reality.eth whitepaper.

   <Example>

   1. An answer is submitted to the Oracle, the Timeout timer begins.
   2. If no other answer is submitted before the Timeout timer reaches 0, the current answer is finalized as correct.
   3. The Cooldown timer begins.
   4. When the Cooldown timer reaches 0, the Expiration timer starts. At this point, the transaction can be triggered (through the Reality.eth UI or contract) and will succeed unless the Expiration timer has reached 0.

5. Submit transaction Confirm the transaction with your web3 wallet that is a signer on the Gnosis Safe.

6. Add the address of the module at the SafeSnap plugin

Adding SafeSnap Transaction at the snapshot

1. Create snapshot proposal.

2. Add transaction patched to the proposal.

   

   

   • Type of transaction
     • ERC-721 transfer
     • ERC-20 transfer (ERC-20)
     • Smart contract Interation
     • Raw Transaction

3. Done When proposal is created, anyone can see the transaction detail.

   

Transaction execution

  1. Original answer Yes
  2. Answer can be changed during time out. The person who wants to change the answer need to deposit bond
  3. After time out ends, answer is finalized and cool down starts. Transaction cannot be executed during the cool down
  4. Transaction needs to be executed within expriation ⇒ Requires Multisig signing
