Vision

GhostsProject DAO supports Ghosts in creating various art and culture while making it used more often, by more people, and for more fun. The GhostsProject community governs via GhostsProject DAO with the decentralized decision-making process. This guideline is an overview of the GhostsProject DAO proposal process and the infrastructure. This document is live as it will be improved through the community contribution

<aside> 💡 Trust Levels

Discourse has a trust system where users can, over time, earn the trust of the community and gain abilities to assist in governing their community. Discourse is designed to offer safe defaults for public communities, even with no active moderation.

0 (new) → 1 (basic) → 2 (member) → 3 (regular) → 4 (leader)

All new users start out in a sandbox with restrictions for everyone’s safety. Trust level 0 (new) users cannot …

• send private messages
• flag posts or topics
• @name mention

New users can transition to trust level 1 after entering 1 topic, reading 1 post, and spending more than 1 min reading the topic. If you feel you should have a higher trust score, message an Admin on Discord.

Ghosts Improvement Proposal (GIP)

Proposal Categories

There are 2 main categories at the GhostsProject DAO. Proponents can choose the category between Core or Community support & decision. The Core can be divided into subcategories which can fall under; Process & Infrastructure, and Finance. Furthermore, Community support & decision can be divided into subcategories which fall under; HR & Budgeting, Art Creation & Support, and Utility as an Avatar

1. Core
   • Core: Process & Infrastructure
     • To change the tools and environment of the DAO
     • To change the process or the method implementation. Examples include guidelines, changes to the decision-making process, etc…
   • Core: Finance
     • To manage financial assets for the sustainability of DAO
     • To do projections and make proposals about financial healthiness (Cost reduction)
     • To manage assets including the investments
   • Core: Others
     • To make proposals that don’t fall into any subcategories go here
2. Community support & decision
   • Community support & decision : HR & Budgeting
     • To hire & retain talented contributors who can achieve the goals
     • To get budget approval of the contributors

<aside> 💡 What is a working group(WG)? An elected group that supports daily DAO operation with various DAO components(Discord, twitter, instagram, DAO tools, etc).

  • To support and encourage derivative project creation (PFP, Art NFT, Commercials, etc) - we want to connect people who want to make something together
  • To support various artists and creators by providing venues to help onboard web3 space and expand their worldview - we love art, and we believe in the long-term value of the art itself is greater than the short-term financial gain.
  • Usage of GhostsProject logo, emblem, and “Official” title of this category’s proposal
• Community support & decision: Utility as an Avatar
  • To support and run various programs where Ghosts users can have fun
  • To encourage Ghosts’ avatar usage (especially in the public space) and promote live avatar features to potential users
